DAY 1!

Yay Day 1! I hope everyone remembered to weigh-in today to track your progress.
We have ten people participating in the competition part of the challenge so the pot will be 100 dollars woohoo! We also have an additional five people participating in the 30 day workout challenge.
I already have money from some people so thanks! If you haven't put your ten dollars in yet just get it to Nicole or me at some point.

This Sunday Nicole and I are planning to walk Wakefield Lake at 10am (my vote was for 11am but Nicole yelled at me and told me not to be lazy haha) - we'll meet in the parking lot near the baseball field/tennis courts. We're not afraid of the cold so bundle up, but if it's raining we'll reschedule. COME JOIN US and celebrate the completion of the first week!

  1. Since it's gorgeous out, and I'm home alone with baby, I decided to do a pre workout before my solo workout tonight. I strapped her on to me using our awesome mei tai baby carrier, and we walked a mile! I probably should have let my lunch digest first, but hey... it's so beautiful out! I hope that motivates everyone else to get out there and enjoy the weather before it gets cool again this weekend :)

  2. I'm kicking Day 1's ass! Ok, with the exception of the weigh-in (which kicked MY ass), I ran 5.25 miles and stayed AWAY from the butterscotch noodles. Bring on Day 2!!

  3. Ok those of you who know me...know I don't run...well today i strapped Luke into his BOB stroller and instead of walking..I ran the route of our normal afternoon walk...oh my goodness I may die, but I did it! It helps that Luke is huge.. gives me a lot of extra weight to push!

  4. This is aaaawesome hahah. I'm LOVING this. I'm running tonight after work, Lord help me. I just grabbed an ice coffee to be sure I have the energy and don't punk out!! You guys rock :)

  5. sweet! real workout- check! I walked a brisk half mile (while trying to get a dog to stop chasing me- wtf?!), and then ran half a mile (sans dog, thank goodness). I feel great! I'm going to do that a few times this week and move my way to run the whole mile.

  6. ok ok... so after I posted about my run.. later on.. I walked our whole route again pushing Luke.. and this time with Baby Ben in the baby Bjorn... I think that walk may have been worse than the run! who knew 9lb babies could kill you. HAHAHA

  7. OK, I went late, which is unlike me, but I am still posting!

    Ran 3 miles, 11 minute pace and then lifted for 30 minutes :)

    Tomorrow two workouts :( Have my regular with trainer and swimming with a friend. I will surely be less chipper by tomorrow :)

  8. looks like no day 2 workout for me :( got no sleep last night, and hubby is staying in Ipswich because of work tonight, so I'll get no time alone. May take the baby for a short and very slow walk later, but I'm not feelin' it right now, We'll see what happens!

  9. Day 1 - slim fast bar for breakfast, Turkey garden salad (no dressing) for lunch. Lots of water and then 1 hour of boot camp. The score is now Kim -2 boot camp -0. Dinner was a chicken parm calzone. But only 2 little slices instead of half of it like usual. Woo Hoo. I have dropped 1.5 pounds from last week. It's a start.

    Day 2 - slim fast bar so far and lots of water. Hoping later it will be decent out so I can take Titan for a walk. We shall see.

    Keep up the great work everyone!!! I love the updates.
